Bartender Job Description

Our bartenders are responsible for providing great service and beverages behind the bar in the restaurant, during banquet events and golf tournaments.

Characteristics of the bartender include being a team player, having excellent attention to detail, having the ability to maintain a positive attitude, and being conversational and friendly with guests

All this is while maintaining the highest level of professionalism to achieve the high standards of service and quality

Bartender Responsibilities:

  • Sets up bar and stocks alcohol, supplies, and garnishes based on establishes par levels

  • Serves both alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with Redwater regulations

  • Always provides high quality customer service and follows procedures when dealing with client requests

  • Monitor all guests’ alcohol consumption

  • Capable of dealing with problematic guests and seeks the support of management when necessary

  • Processes payments for cash bars

  • Verifies identification and age requirements of customers

  • Breaks down bar and stored supplies at the end of the shift

Requirements:

  • Previous bartending and serving experience preferred

  • Night, weekend, and holiday availability

  • Must be 18 years old

  • May at time have to life 50+ pounds

  • Ability to stand for long period of time and walk while carrying items

  • Preferred to be ServeSafe certified
